Chocolate Chip Cookies (Eggless)

If you are a chocolate lover, a chocolate chip cookie is exactly what you need to make anything better! This easy-to-follow recipe makes buttery gooey chocolate chip cookies, which you won’t be able to resist.

  1. Butter – ½ cup, softened
Both salted and unsalted butter can be you used. If you use unsalted butter don’t forget to add a pinch of salt to the dough.
  1. Sugar – 200g
Either white or brown sugar can be used. Or a combination of the two can be used, so that a perfect texture is obtained. I’d suggest the use of 100g castor sugar and 100g soft brown sugar.
  1. Corn Flour/Corn Starch
This would make the cookies, chewy. You can skip this ingredient if you want the cookies to be crunchy.
  1. Flax Seeds – 2 tablespoons
This ingredient is used as an egg replacement. Grind two tablespoons of flax seeds. Add 1 tablespoon of water to it. Mix it well, and then let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.
  1. 1+ ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  2. 1-2 tablespoons milk
