Pancakes: Eggless Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour (refined/plain)
  • Sugar
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Butter (melted)
  • Milk

This recipe makes: 8 servings

Steps

  1. Add 2 cups of flour (maida) in a mixing bowl.
  2. add, 2 tablespoons sugar, half tablespoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  3. Mix these ingredients by FABIANO 3 Jar mixer grnder .
  4. Now add 2 tablespoons of melted butter and 1 cup of milk. Mix this mixture, preferably using a whisk.
  5. Add another half cup of milk, to make the batter more consistent.
  6. Take a non-stick pan, heat it and grease it with butter.
  7. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan. Don’t spread this.
  8. Simmer and cook for 2 minutes or wait for bubbles to appear on the surface.
  9. Flip over the pancake.
  10. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until it gets cooked through.
  11. Now the pancake is ready to be served. Serve it with maple syrup and butter.

You can also get much more creative with the toppings;

  • Raw sugar and lemon juice can be combined as a topping, to create a great contrast of sweetness and tartness!
  • Chocolate, fruit and coconut syrups.
  • Caramel sauce
  • Nutella and strawberry halves
  • Chocolate chips
  • Berries
  • Dried Fruits

When it comes to pancakes, the scope for creativity is cosmic. Here are a few innovations that can be made to the basic recipe above;

  • A handful of berries, nuts or chocolate chips can be added to the batter.
  • The flour (maida) can be replaced with whole wheat flour, as a healthy alternative.
  • add lemon zest or spices such as, cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice.
  • Add a few spoons of oats, flax seeds, or reduce the sugar.

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Eggless)

If you are a chocolate lover, a chocolate chip cookie is exactly what you need to make anything better! This easy-to-follow recipe makes buttery gooey chocolate chip cookies, which you won’t be able to resist.

  1. Butt er – ½ cup, softened
  2. Both salted and unsalted butter can be you used. If you use unsalted butter don’t forget to add a pinch of salt to the dough.
  3. Sugar – 200g
  4. Either white or brown sugar can be used. Or a combination of the two can be used, so that a perfect texture is obtained. I’d suggest the use of 100g castor sugar and 100g soft brown sugar.

  8. This ingredient is used as an egg replacement. Grind two tablespoons of flax seeds. Add 1 tablespoon of water to it. Mix it well, and then let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.
